Inches to Feet (in → ft)

Convert inches to feet and back—useful for raised bed soil depth math.

Quick answer

feet = inches ÷ 12. Example: 10" ÷ 12 = 0.8333 ft.

Worked example

If your bed is 4×4 ft and depth is 10": depth_ft=10/12=0.8333. Soil_ft³=4×4×0.8333=13.33 ft³.
